Fans of Mazinger Z or Tranzor Z will remember the robot’s feminine sidekick Aphrodai A or Aphrodite, best known for her pair of special missile firing abilities. Several deals are currently available on the Aphrodai A toy collectible online. Originally released in January 2002, this robot is part of a line of sophisticated die-cast robot toys made by Bandai’s Soul of Chogokin in Japan.

The Aphrodai A features a wonderful articulation of her limbs and body, allowing you to move her into any heroic poses while supported by her waist on a stand. She also comes with different sets of breast missles, either small and large! Someone sent me a message asking about the old 1984 American dubbed animation classic Tranzor Z and where they can buy the episodes on DVD. As you many fans probably know, Tranzor Z was an adaption of the old early 70s Japanese animated tv show, Mazinger Z. Plenty of Mazinger Z dvds are available online. It’s American counterpart Tranzor Z is harder to come by. Robby the Robot became a popular science fiction character after his premiere in 1956's Forbidden Planet starring Leslie Nielsen. From that time forward, Robby has made several guest appearance in different sci fi movies and television episodes, leading to his memorable status as sci fi icon. He designs inspired the creation of other robots such as the B-9 "Danger Danger Will Robinson" robot from Lost in Space.

Power Rangers and Super Sentai fans, have you ever tried to find a store that sells helmets and masks for your favorite power rangers or sentai character? In the US, there is one main licenser who sells the cheap thin children power rangers costumes with the flimsy face mask but those are just made for one time use during Halloween. Of course parents are not going to pay $600 for a Halloween costume so there isn’t exactly a mass public demand for “supreme” edition Power Ranger costumes. But if you are reading this, you are probably one of those adults looking for such a costume. Since you are a rare demographic of such product, there are a few independent sellers who make and sell handmade “Cosplay” quality Power Ranger and Sentai costumes.

The photo on the left is an example of a handmade customized Red Power Ranger Sentai helmet from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers or Kyoryu Sentai Zyu Ranger (translated as Dinosaur Squadron Beast Rangers). Most of the sellers are outside of the United States probably due to licensing reasons. Scroll down this article if you like to see some of the cosplay items available for sale by sellers.
